Benefits of Green LED Light
Green LED light therapy has been shown to be effective at breaking down excess melanin and helping to reduce dark spots and pigmentation. It does this by penetrating into the bottom of the epidermis (your skins surface layer) and affecting the melanocytes that exist there.
Melanocytes are cells that produce melanin and it is melanin that causes dark spots and pigmentation. By affecting these cells and reducing the production of excess melanin, it has been shown that green LED light therapy is effective in reducing the appearance of age spots and dark pigmentation.
